As your death doula, I walk beside you and your loved ones through one of life’s most profound passages — offering comfort, clarity, and compassionate guidance every step of the way. My role is to help you feel supported, understood, and at peace, while ensuring your wishes and your family’s needs are gently honored with dignity and love.

In addition to emotional and spiritual support, I also serve as a liaison — connecting families and clients with the right end-of-life services, communicating with providers, making calls, arranging visits, and being the steady presence when loved ones can’t be there. My mission is to help families navigate these tender decisions with calm, confidence, and care, so no one ever feels alone or overwhelmed in the process.

Emotional and Spiritual Support

I bring presence, comfort, and reassurance during a time that can feel uncertain. Through heartfelt listening and gentle conversation, I help individuals and families find acceptance, understanding, and moments of peace amid change.

Life Review and Legacy Work

I assist in creating deeply personal keepsakes — handwritten letters, recorded stories, or cherished messages — that allow your voice and memories to live on. Each expression becomes a timeless gift, carrying love and laughter forward to those who will always hold you dear.

Advocacy and Liaison Support

I serve as your bridge between care teams, providers, and family members — making calls, arranging visits, clarifying details, and ensuring your wishes are respected. When family members cannot be present, I stand in loving support — offering steadiness, communication, and compassion on their behalf.

Compassionate Presence at Transition

In your final moments, I remain quietly beside you — ensuring your space feels peaceful, your wishes are honored, and your loved ones feel cared for. It is my deepest calling to hold that sacred space where life, love, and legacy intertwine — gently, beautifully, and without fear.

Philosophy of Care

In my experience as a death doula, I have found that the most meaningful support does not begin at the final moment, nor does it end with a single conversation. My intention is to build a trusted relationship with my clients—walking alongside them from their last living celebration, through the quieter days that follow, and ultimately to their final breath.

This work is deeply personal to me, and I feel honored to hold such sacred space. I take this responsibility seriously, with care, respect, and genuine compassion. End-of-life can be frightening, isolating, and emotionally overwhelming. Beyond medical care, many individuals simply need human connection—someone to listen without judgment, sit quietly in the stillness, offer reassurance, or provide companionship when fear or loneliness surfaces. My role is to ensure that no one has to navigate this transition alone.

Services & Fees

Free Initial Consultation

$0 | 20–30 minutes

A complimentary conversation to explore needs, answer questions, and determine whether my services are the right fit. No obligation—just a supportive place to begin.

Empathetic Listening Session

$50 | 30-minute phone call

A compassionate, non-judgmental space to talk, process emotions, and feel heard. This session is available both as an introduction to services and as ongoing support for moments when someone feels scared, lonely, overwhelmed, or simply in need of a calm, caring voice.

Hourly Death Doula Support

$110 per hour

Flexible, non-medical support provided as needed. Services may include emotional presence, companionship, guidance through the end-of-life process, family support, and advocacy for comfort and dignity.

Simply Together

$500 Professional Fee

An economical yet heartfelt living celebration focused on being together in the moment, this package includes my dedicated time and support, while all venue and vendor elements are arranged separately to respect individual budgets.

Steady Presence

Ongoing Companion & Doula Support

$1,000 per month | Up to 8 hours per month

Designed for individuals seeking continuity, connection, and companionship beyond isolated visits, Steady Presence offers ongoing, trusted support throughout the end-of-life journey.

Support may include companionship during lonely days or evenings, shared outings such as meals or walks, transportation to appointments or engagements, emotional support through conversation or quiet presence, and simply having someone there when support is needed. Services are flexible and shaped by the client’s comfort level and evolving needs and may be provided personally by me or, when appropriate, by trusted members of my support team.

Personal expenses such as meals, tickets, or retail purchases are handled separately.

All services provided by Ascendings are non-medical in nature and are intended to complement—never replace—medical or hospice care.


My intention is to walk alongside my clients not just through milestones, but through the in-between moments—offering comfort, companionship, and reassurance whenever it is needed.

WHAT MY FLAT FEE COVERS:

  • Facilitating and coordinating with clients and vendors from the first meeting onward.
  • Overseeing planning and preparation details.
  • Hosting the celebration and delivering welcome speeches.
  • Staying present from start to finish of the event.
  • Managing all logistics on the day.
  • Fielding questions, concerns, and calls so families don’t have to.
  • Ensuring a smooth, stress-free experience throughout.

Fee Structure

  • My facilitation fee starts at $1500 locally, and 1/2 payment is due upfront to reserve my time and services, with the balance paid one week before the event. Rates will be higher for out-of-town events and larger scope projects. This covers everything I do for you—from our first meeting through planning, hosting, delivering welcome speeches, staying present from start to finish, and managing all logistics for a truly hassle-free experience.
  • Vendor services (such as event planner, florists, musicians, photographers, venues, or caterers) are billed separately by each vendor. I will coordinate and oversee every detail with them, but their fees are in addition to my own and are paid directly to them.
